Chemtex Effluent Treatment Flocculants are substances that promote the agglomeration of fine particles present in a solution, creating a floc, which then floats to the surface (flotation) or settles to the bottom (sedimentation). This can then be more easily removed from the liquid. We provide a range of polyelectrolytes of different molecular weights such as low molecular weight, medium molecular weight, high molecular weight, and ultra-high molecular weight, and ionic charges such as anionic polyelectrolyte, cationic polyelectrolyte, non-ionic polyelectrolyte, and amphoteric polyelectrolyte. All these flocculants are used for secondary settling and sludge dewatering. For primary settling coagulants such as alum, PAC (poly aluminum chloride), ferric chloride, ferrous sulfate etc are used and from the organic range products like poly DADMAC, polyamine, and poly DCDA are used.
